RM16‑12 fully‑insulated gas‑insulated ring‑main‑unit (RMU) is a hermetically‑sealed switchgear system. All live parts and switching components are enclosed inside a stainless‑steel tank. The whole equipment is protected against external environmental influences, delivering high‑reliability long‑term operation and achieving maintenance‑free service.
Expandable busbars support arbitrary modular combinations, realizing full‑module expansion. Equipped with safe earthing interlock and shielding devices, the cabinet ensures high‑safety performance. It can provide TV‑based automation solution, building an intelligent switchgear concept, and greatly reduces site commissioning & installation workload.
RM16‑12 gas‑insulated switchgear adopts non‑expandable standard‑configuration and expandable standard‑configuration. Thanks to modular assembly and expandable structure, the cabinet features excellent flexibility.
Designed service life exceeds 30‑years under indoor ( 40℃) or outdoor (‑50℃) operating conditions. This equipment strictly complies with GB standards.

1. The RM16‑12 fully‑insulated gas cabinet uses SF6 gas as arc‑quenching & insulating medium.
2. Fully‑sealed, full‑insulation construction. Busbars and live components are sealed inside stainless‑steel tank, filled with 1.4 bar SF6 gas. Protection class IP67 for live parts; equipment runs reliably even under flooding, long‑term maintenance‑free operation.
3. Complete five‑interlock safety‑lock device, effectively prevents mis‑operation injuries and equipment failure.
4. Reliable 5‑way pressure‑relief channel, guarantees operator safety under fault conditions.
5. Two cabinet types available: fixed single‑unit type and expandable combined‑unit type.
