ZW20 Integrated Primary and Secondary Pole-Mounted Circuit Breaker (Common Enclosure Type)
The ZW20 primary-secondary integrated complete set pole-mounted circuit breaker (tank type) (hereinafter referred to as the boundary circuit breaker) is a new type of product by our company. The boundary circuit breaker is a multifunctional intelligent device integrating four major types of switches: vacuum circuit breaker, vacuum load switch, recloser, and section switch. It mainly consists of three components: the vacuum circuit breaker body, the FDR-type controller, and an external voltage transformer (note: dual-side PTs are optional in distribution automation looped network lines). The product is widely used as a section disconnecting switch and tie switch in 10kV and 13kV urban and rural distribution overhead looped network lines, serving as an automatic switching device for load distribution in looped networks. It can be used as a boundary switch (commonly known as a "watchdog") on branch lines supplying large customers, and as a recloser and section switch in feeder overhead distribution networks. The boundary circuit breaker features remote management mode, protection control functions, and communication capabilities. It can reliably detect and determine zero-sequence current in the milliampere range and phase-to-phase short-circuit fault current within its protected zone, enabling automatic isolation of single-phase grounding faults and phase-to-phase short-circuit faults.
The main body switch adopts vacuum arc extinguishing and uses a mixed gas of SF6 and N2 for insulation. The enclosure incorporates gas sealing, explosion-proof, and insulation structural technologies introduced from Japan, Germany, and France, resulting in excellent overall sealing performance. The internally filled SF6 and N2 mixed gas does not leak and is unaffected by external environmental conditions. The spring operating mechanism has been miniaturized and its performance optimized, offering significantly higher operational reliability than traditional domestic spring mechanisms.
